I was born and raised in New York City. Upon returning from Vietnam, where I became inspired by photography because of the beauty of the country, I attended the New York Institute of Photography in Manhattan. It was an evening program, where the instructors were working New York professional photographers. I relocated to the west coast and continued my studies by attending City College of San Francisco, which had an excellent two year photography program. Finishing that program I started working for a very popular camera shop in North Beach, which provided a rental communitty darkroom. I managed this darkroom which was used by the local photographers. I perfected my darkroom skills during this period. I then operated my own photography studio downtown San Francisco. Shortly after I attended school again, studied television production and resettled in Los Angeles. I started a career in television production, becoming a union camera crew member. I was part of camera crews receiving five Emmy Award Certificates for productions such as the Olympics,Oscars,Grammys etc. Although I am grateful and enjoyed my television experiences, photography always remained my true passion. I recently went back to school to sharpen my photography skills with the latest digital technology. I am now devoting all my time to perfecting my work and sharing my love of photography. I approach my photography with true compassion. I try to capture the images that inspire me from daily life around us and hope they bring others inspiration, thank you for coming by.
